Evelyn's Roots

Evelyn’s Roots (audio storywalk for any age)  was our collaboration with theatre company Teatro Vivo. It’s an audio storywalk narrated by trees, inviting you on a journey around Deptford, taking in 400 years of local history. The project was inspired by DeptfordFolk, a local park group who were in turn inspired by local environmental campaigner Octavia Hills and diarist John Evelyn, both champions of clean air and green spaces. Listen to the first chapter here or the whole series here
